Topical
NSAIDs
such as those made with
anti-inflammatory medications such as
Volteran of Ketoprofen (similar to aspirin
and motrin)
were no better than placebo in
patients with Osteoarthritis as
reported in the British
Medical Journal (BMJ).
For
patients with proliferative lupus
nephritis,
short-term
treatment with intravenous Cytoxan
followed
by maintenance
therapy with mycophenolate mofetil or
azathioprine
appears to be
more effective and safer than
long-term therapy
with
intravenous Cytoxan.
